Lily Development has unveiled plans for Aquarius Tower, a 38-story, 240,000-square-foot building that will be located across from the Georgia Aquarium in Downtown at the corner of Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard and Luckie Street. Construction is slated to begin this summer and be completed by fall 2009. Designed by PFVS Architects Inc., Aquarius Tower is the first condominium in Georgia to incorporate solar and wind energy into its design. Rooftop solar panels will harness the power of the sun and state-of-the-art wind turbines will channel high winds into usable energy. Aquarius will include various sustainable features throughout the project and will utilize recycled building materials and thermally efficient products. Homeowners will experience Georgia’s first automated, underground valet parking service. Popularized in Europe and the Far East, this system reduces garage space, eliminates the risk of vehicle damage or theft, and reduces pollution yvehicles are not driven within the parking structure). Aquarius Tower’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, which range from 850 to 2,100 square feet, are priced from the 300s to 900s and the four penthouses range at 1 million to 2.5 million. Sales and marketing will be provided by Team Spirit Realty Investment. For more information: (770) 623-8282 or www.AquariusTower.com.
