 When Michael and Laurie Murphy decided to renovate their Brookwood Hills home, their vision was clear. "We wanted to keep the integrity of a 1925 bungalow," Murphy said. "I did not want to go up. So we decided what we would do in order to make it livable for us was to build a downstairs master on the main, a very comfortable bath area, a steam shower, nice walk-in closets, and we wanted our walk-through galley kitchen to be totally redone – a kitchen with an island opening to a den, keeping the hardwood floors throughout."
