ALUMNI SHOWCASE:  The Art Institute Annual Alumni Showcase opens Aug. 6 and continues through Sept. 19. The event features commercial and fine art works by many of the college's alumni, including graphic design, photography, video production, web design and more. RALLY FOUNDATION MEETING: Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a Sandy Springs-based non-profit organization, will hold a run/walk in the future to raise funds. BLUES FOR BREAD CONCERT: The second annual concert featuring James Brown's Soul Generals will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m. at Center Stage, West Peachtree at 17th Streets. WOMEN AT WORK: The Power of Women and Money will host a summertime learn and lunch for Atlanta's top women executives at South City Kitchn in Vinings on Aug. 26.
