Teens Try Homeless Experiment
Elven juniors from Paideia School took part in the Homeless Project at the end of May, living, sleeping and learning about what it means to be homeless. For five days and four nights, the students lived on $5 a day, doing physical labor to make that money to buy food. They also visited with agencies serving the homeless and visiting areas where homeless people try to survive. You can read Jennifer Ballentine's story in the July issue of Atlanta INtown, which is online now.
