The second annual Inman Park Beer Chase 5K and Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, on Elizabeth Street. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. with a  5K race through the historic neighborhood  and the Freedom Park PATH. All runners received a t-shirt and top finishers will receive prizes. The event supports the Inman Park Security Patrol.

Following the race at noon, enjoy a sampling of more than 100 beers from local and national craft breweries. There will also be food available from local restaurants and a visit from the King of Pops.  Since it’s Halloween weekend, costumes are encouraged. Those brave enough to done tights or other festive attire will be entered in a Halloween Costume Contest.

Festival tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the gate. Tickets for the race are $27 in advance at active.com or $30 the day of the race. A combo ticket is $60. inmanparkbeerchase.com
