The severe storm that move through Atlanta last night caused flooding, knocked out and power and took an extensive toll on Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q on DeKalb Avenue.

Removal crews were on the scene early this morning clearing away the 70-inch-wide oak tree that fell onto two of the restaurants dining rooms. Although the storm came during the dinner rush, no one was hurt.

And while damage to the the main building was extensive, the kitchen and smokehouse are still intact. The owners have said they would like to open this weekend for take-out service, but keep an eye on their Twitter and Facebook pages for updates.
