Tickets are on sale now for Party at Ponce, at newly named Ponce City Market, to be held on October 1. An evening of music, paired with bites from Atlanta’s best chefs, is included in the $85 ticket price, as well as tours of the historic property. Francine Reed has been added to the music line-up, headlined by Atlanta musical favorites the Indigo Girls and Shawn Mullins.

The venue has special meaning to Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls. Her mother worked there when the building was Sears, Roebuck and Company. “Indigo Girls always love to play events that bring the community together and this is a very special one,” noted Ray, one half of the headlining duo. “We’ll get to play in an historic building and we’ll be benefitting two awesome organizations that are all about community building – the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Georgia Organics.”

“Performing with such great artists as the Indigo Girls and Francine Reed is a highlight, which will showcase Atlanta talent for a great cause,” noted recording artist and performer Shawn Mullins.

The event will include guided tours of the former City Hall East before the doors close for renovation this fall. In addition, food will be served from some of Atlanta’s best chefs, including Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia, Kevin Rathbun of Rathbun’s, Shaun Doty of Yeah! Burger, Jay Swift of 4th & Swift, Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, Hugh Acheson of Empire State South, Ford Fry of JCT Kitchen, Duane Nutter of One Flew South, Brian Jones of the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and Joe Truex of Watershed, in addition to some of Atlanta’s favorite food trucks.
