Submitted by collin on Tuesday, 10 May 2011No Comment

revival2011The 15th Annual River Revival, a fundraiser for Upper Chattahoochee River, will be held May 19 at Park Tavern. The event will feature live music from Ken Block and Drew Copeland from Sister Hazel, Atlanta’s Ponderosa, and Nashville’s The Kicks. Funds raised benefit UCR’s river patrol and monitoring programs.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door, which will include food from Park Tavern, beer from SweetWater, and a one-year membership to UCR. There will also be a silent auction and the River Rock Star Award will be presented to filmmakers Rhett Turner and Jonathan Wickham, who produced Chattahoochee: From Water War to Water Vision.

SweetWater Brewery will unveil a special Waterkeeper ale at the Revival. This ale will only be offered during the company’s Save the Hooch campaign, which runs from Memorial Day through the Fourth of July.
