US Road Sports and Entertainment Group along with Publix as the new title sponsor, celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon in Atlanta on March 20.

The 26.2 and 13.1 mile course crosses through many of the city’s historic neighborhoods and Decatur. The staging area for the start and finish line is located in Centennial Olympic Park.

Publix Georgia Marathon weekend includes a full marathon, half marathon, 5K and a Kid’s Run allowing people of all ages and abilities to participate.

The 3rd annual Publix Run Wild 5K & Kids Fun Run will take place Saturday, March 19, in Grant Park. The Publix Georgia Marathon has partnered with Zoo Atlanta, encouraging participants to make it a family day.
