MODA celebrates opening with sexy cycles
In celebration of its new facility in the Midtown Arts Corridor, the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) features an exhibition celebrating the sleek and the sexy – the Italian motorcycle.
MODA’s opening exhibition will provide a look at the design that turned Italian motorcycles into objects of desire at the same time that they dominated the racecourse. Passione Italiana: Design of the Italian Motorcycle opens to the public on March 20 and will run through June 13.
The exhibition presents 11 masterpieces of Italian motorcycle design spanning the last five decades including motorcycles by MV Agusta, Ducati, Bimota and Moto – Morini.
The museum’s Grand Opening Party will include a preview of Passione Italiana on March 19. Tickets will be available soon at www.museumofdesign.org or by calling 404.979.6455.
