antiques roadshowPublic television favorite Antiques Roadshow will be pulling into Atlanta this summer as part of a six-city production tour. The Saturday, Aug. 6, visit will be the show’s first visit back to the city since 1997.

Those interested in bringing their antiques and collectibles for appraisal can visit  pbs.org/antiques and apply for free tickets. You can also call 1-888-762-3749. Ticket applications must be received by April 18, 2011. Tickets will be awarded by random drawing.

In addition, The Roadshow Furniture Roundup is looking for large pieces of furniture within 50 miles of Atlanta. Complete furniture submission rules are available online or by dialing the toll-free information line (see above).

Programs taped this summer will make up the 16th broadcast season of Antiques Roadshow, which will air on PBS in 2012.
