crime-stoppersAtlanta area restaurants, in partnership with APD and CSA, will host the second annual Dine Out for a Safer Atlanta on Wednesday, Aug. 18 to raise money for the reward pool used to capture these dangerous criminals. Crime Stoppers Atlanta is hosting the second annual Dine Out for a Safer Atlanta. Restaurants across Atlanta will donate 10% of their proceeds to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta reward fund.

Since 2007, Crime Stoppers Atlanta (CSA) has helped put more than 149 criminals behind bars through an anonymous tip line. Recent arrests include Eric Strickland, one of Atlanta’s top ten most dangerous fugitives; Ali Nejad, a.k.a. the ”pantyhose rapist”; and Oderrick Boone, who stabbed to death a local grocer in a botched robbery.

Participating restaurants include Agave, The Albert, American Roadhouse, Basil Restaurant and Bar, Blind Willie’s Blues, Club, Blue Ribbon Grill, Cantina, Cellar 56, D.B.A. Barbecue, Doc Chey’s Noodle House (Grant Park), Ecco, Genki. Noodles and Sushi (Buckhead and The Prado), Java Vino, La Tavola, Limerick Junction, Livingston Restaurant and Bar, Max Lager’s Wood-fired Grill & Brewery, Milltown Tavern, MoSaiC Restaurant, No Mas! Cantina, Noche (Virginia Highlands), Prime, ROOM at TWELVE, San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company (Virginia Highlands), Sear at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis, The Shed at Glenwood, Six Feet Under (Grant Park and Westside), Steinbecks, Thrive, Universal, Joint, Woodfire Grill and Young Augustine’s.

Crime Stoppers Atlanta rallies and empowers citizens to take a stand against crime in their communities. The program provides an avenue for citizens to anonymously report information that helps law enforcement in criminal investigations and incentivizes them with rewards if the information leads to an arrest and indictment.
