Christmas at Callanwolde returns

CallanwoldeCallanwolde Fine Arts Center announced the return of the holiday tradition Christmas at Callanwolde in December. For 12 days, families are invited to enjoy the decorated Gothic-Tutor mansion reflecting the Roaring 20s era when the Candler family lived there. Roam around the mansion, enjoy the designs and holiday splendor including the Callanwolde Artists Studio, holiday music and live entertainment throughout the day including Callanwolde’s Aeolian Organ.

Featured events by advance reservation only include the Premiere Party; Breakfast with Santa and Teddy Bear Tea. Others include Battle of the Ice; Children’s Marshmallow Roasts and the Callanwolde Gingerbread Village, which will be on display throughout the event.

Christmas at Callanwolde will be held December 1-12 on weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sundays 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and evening hours Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center located on 980 Briarcliff Road. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, children aged 4-12 are $12, under 3 go free and groups of 20+ are $15. Tickets can be purchased online at www.christmasatcallanwolde.org.
