The Oglethorpe University Museum of Art has received a gift of 14 original Salvador Dali large lithographs (including 12 four-color prints) by an anonymous corporate donor. These lithographs by the surrealist Spanish master are now part of OUMA’s permanent collection and will be exhibited Sunday, July 11 – Sunday, Sept. 5. This collection of prints has never before been exhibited to the public.

One of the greatest surrealist masters of the 20th century, Salvador Dali (1904-1989) was a classically trained artist best known for his dreamlike and fanciful images. His eccentric self promotion drew attention to his work and sometimes also distracted from it.
