Bike To WorkWhether you’re going to work, running errands or just socializing, ditch the car and choose to ride your bicycle instead. Be part of Bike to Work Week and:

  • Get discounts at participating bike shops
  • Be entered to win prizes
  • Get access to resources for riding and staying safe
  • Have the satisfaction of being part of a community of people who care about the environment, their health and their hometown …all from the seat of a bicycle!

The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and its partners, including The Clean Air Campaign, are organizing events to encourage metro Atlanta residents to add bicycling into their commuting choices. Don’t miss out on these fun Bike to Work Week activities:

Tuesday, May 18: BikeFest at Woodruff Park
Wednesday, May 19: Ride of Silence to honor those injured or killed in bike accidents
Thursday, May 20: Get to Know Your Local Bike Shop
Friday, May 21: Bike to Work Day! Take the pledge to Bike to Work at this link.

Find tips and resources for bicycle commuting on The Clean Air Campaign’s website. Plus, you can only imagine how healthy and affordable a bike commute can be – and The Clean Air Campaign will even pay you up to $100 to switch from driving alone to trying a cycling commute. Even if you can’t bike the whole way, most transit vehicles accommodate bikes, so try cycling to your nearest transit stop.
