Earth DayEarth Day will be celebrated on the Georgia Tech campus during “Think Green Week” from April 19 to 23. There will be a green really, lectures, films, sustainable fashion show and more. See the schedule at this link.

An Earth Day Summit will be held on the campus of Agnes Scott College in Decatur on April 21 at 6:3o p.m. The theme: “Perspectives on Copenhagen: Next Steps” moderated by Felicia Davis, Director, Facilities & Infrastructure Enhancement Institute for Capacity Building, United Negro College Fund. Jack Art Gallery in Studioplex will open it’s new show, “recyling eARTh,” with an artists’ reception on April 14.

EVOS restaurants will once again offer free organic milkshakes to customers to mark Earth Day. Made from simple, wholesome ingredients like fresh fruit, all-natural juice and organic milk, this year’s cool treats will be served in new biodegradable cups made from plant-based ingredients that illustrate EVOS’ philosophy of “Earth Day. Every Day.” There are EVOS locations at Viewpoint, 855 Peachtree St. and The Prado, 5590 Roswell Road.
