GardenHood hosting author, events today

GardenhoodOn Saturday, April 17, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m,, Garden*Hood invites you to Plant Atlanta Day featuring TV host and author Erica Glasener chatting one-on-one with customers about proven plant combinations for Atlanta gardens. Her new book “Proven Plants: Southern Gardens” will be available for purchase and for signing. Bring the whole family! While you shop and learn more about gardening, the kids can dig into Earth-friendly activities designed just for them. The local school with the most families participating in Plant Atlanta Day will win a tree to plant on campus.

Other opportunities for gardeners to “Start Fresh” this Spring at Garden*Hood include: Garden Star Saturdays, the Good Food Festival (May 1) and the Funky Garden Art Show (June 20).
