Submitted by collin on Friday, 5 March 20109 Comments

Girl Scout CookiesThe Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta are seeking donations for its Project Cookies 4 Troops, which plans to send 650,000 boxes of cookies to servicemen and women overseas. For every $3.50 donated, a box of the famous Girl Scout Cookies will be sent to a soldier.

To support Project Cookies 4 Troops , go to the council’s web site at www.gsgatl.org and make a donation.  Along with boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Tagalongs, Lemon Chalet Crèmes, Dulce de Leche and Thank U Berry Munch, the Scouts will also be including handwritten letters that will accompany the cookies to add an extra special thank you.

The deadline to donate is March 30.

Where can you get the price of each box of the different cookies!?!

Caramel delites are by far my favorite with the peanut butter patties coming in second. Linda, I believe the boxes are $4 each this year. I am not sure if that is a “per state” price, but I would think it’s pretty much the same price accross the board.
