healthThe 1st Annual Healthy habits Health Fair will take place on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Centers. Participants can look forward to learning ways to approach healthy lifestyles, fitting fitness into your day, and a variety of useful information, performances, prizes and activities.

BOUNCE and YouthN2Fitness are two non profit organizations that have collaborated to bring physical activity and nutrition education to afterschool programs in the community. BOUNCE and YouthN2fitness are concerned with the alarming increase in sedentary lifestyles among the American society. As the objective to raise consciousness on the growing epidemic of not only childhood obesity, but overall health awareness, improvement of self- esteem and knowledge of elements of a health lifestyle is what these organizations value most. The priority of The Healthy Habits Health Fair is to incorporate families in this learning process to truly conquer this epidemic. This event is a family orientated event that will be fun, educational and interactive.

“We are elated about the health fair and what it will bring to the families of Atlanta,” said Kyle Green, Founder and CEO of YouthN2Fitness. “Our goal is to provide information and resources that will help make living healthy the more popular thing to do.”

The event is open and FREE to the public and activities include: food demonstrations, health screenings, fitness advice, safety tips, and much more. There will be activities for the children as well.
