Trees Atlanta Holiday Campaign

Submitted by collin on Saturday, 21 November 2009No Comment

holiday treeTrees Atlanta announced its 16th Annual Holiday Tree Greeting Campaign today.  For just $25 each, Trees Atlanta will plant a shade tree in honor of your loved ones and business associates and send a festive card announcing your gift. Trees Atlanta volunteers will plant the trees for you in barren areas where they are needed most and hope to  plant more than 2,000 oaks, maples and flowering trees through this year’s campaign.  The 2009 Trees Atlanta Holiday Tree Greeting card features a beautiful image by Atlanta nature photographer, Kathryn Kolb (www.kathrynkolb.com).

To order Trees Atlanta Holiday Tree Greeting cards, send names and addresses of those on your gift list with a check for $25 per holiday card to Trees Atlanta, 225 Chester Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30316 or order on-line at www.treesatlanta.org after Nov. 30.   Trees Atlanta Holiday Tree Greetings are also available for retail purchase at Metro Atlanta REI stores through Dec. 31.

Trees Atlanta is a nationally recognized citizens group dedicated to protecting and improving our urban environment by planting, conserving and educating.  The non-profit group has planted and distributed more than 75,000 trees since 1985.  Volunteers and contractors maintain and care for all trees planted.  For more information about Trees Atlanta or its programs, www.treesatlanta.org or (404) 522-4097.
