Fashion Over Atlanta event, Nov. 12-15

Fashion Over AtlantaBringing back the glamour and luxury of fashion boutique shopping, “Fashion Over Atlanta” is excited to announce their first annual shopping event happening throughout Metro Atlanta this week, Nov. 12-15.  The four-day event, created by a team of Atlanta fashion experts, will highlight 50 of Atlanta’s most loved boutiques and offer shoppers exclusive events and benefits to re-inspire their inner fashionista.

Kicking off this Thursday, Nov. 12, Fashion Over Atlanta establishes Atlanta as the fashion capital of the south with a weekend full of fashion forward events.  Each participating boutique will host their own unique fashion celebration, with events ranging from brand name trunk shows to book signings to in-store live music to encourage shoppers to become a part of the Atlanta fashion scene.  Participating retailers include:
Beehive Co-Op, Beth Ann, Bilthouse, Brina Beads, Boogaloos, Cherry Bomb, DEKA Athletics , Drew Lewis, Emly Benham, Etc. East, Evolve, Fab’rik, Fickle Manor, G. Gilbert, Hand In Pocket, Havens, Livs, Luna, Jac, Kaleidoscope, Kelly’s Closet, Ken Barber Clothing, K La, Lena Rose, Lui B., Mint Julep, Miller Brothers, Mitzi and Romano, Meringue, Mooncake, Moops, Pella, Peoples, Poppy’s of Atlanta, Potpourri, Razzle Dazzle, Rhinoceros, Sabot, Sandpiper, Sage, Sid Mashburn, SoShoelight, Squash Blossom, T, Taste Clothing Boutique, Tootsies, Tulipano, and Veronica’s Attic.

“We’re thrilled to bring a fashion focus and the buzz of a big-city fashion week to Atlanta,” said Melissa Murdock, event co-creator and owner of Sandpiper Boutique.  “Atlanta already has a great sense of style and with Fashion Over Atlanta we hope to show it off and make our city one of the largest shopping destinations in the country.”

In addition to the shopping events, a limited edition Fashion Over Atlanta t-shirt designed by Pecan Pie Couture founder Clint Zeagler will be sold at participating boutiques to benefit Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA).
