Westside Art Walk this Saturday

westside artsThe Westside Arts District’s next Art Walk will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Among the galleries that will be featured are:

The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center: At 11 a.m., Curator Dan Cameron will offer a special lecture discussing his numerous projects.  $5 for General Admission, $3 for Students/Seniors, Center members and Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Emily Amy Gallery:  At noon, Sarah Hinckley will discuss her exhibition, Color Logic, currently on display.

Bobbe Gillis Gallery: Photographer Scott Tasker will give a presentation at 1 p.m.  Admission is free.

Kiang Gallery: At 2 p.m. the gallery will host a “Gallery Talk” focusing on the surrealistic staged photographs of Chinese artist Chi Peng.

Saltworks:  There will be a drumming performance by Harrison Haynes in the gallery at 3 p.m.
