The Peachtree Road Farmers Market is holding a special event on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help raise funds for local farmers who had their crops damaged or destroyed during the recent floods. Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q will be onsite serving up lip-smacking good barbecue with 100 percent of the profits going to the Peachtree Road Farmer Fund. Sandwiches will be $10 and include lemonade. There will also be live music and the regular Saturday market offerings. Les Dames d’Escoffier will also be holding its culinary yard sale.
