Your Business, Your Banker

Developing relationships are critical and could be said to be the bloodline for successful business owners. Establishing rapport with your banker is a win-win for a successful long-term business, enabling the client to receive customized financial information. The banker should be a trusted advisor providing tailored service, open communication and always focusing proactively on the client’s needs.

When will this rapport be most helpful to your business?

Choosing the right banker for your business is a must and should be done well in advance before a financial need occurs. Do not wait until your business needs a loan or line of credit. Stay in touch with your banker and let them know on occasion how you’re doing as they may have an idea to help you maximize your productivity.

Why is it important to feel comfortable with your banker?

The bottom line is you have to feel open and comfortable with your banker in order to have successful relationship. Your banker will know your business and based on that can provide expertise, advice and creative solutions to meet your financial goals.

How does this relationship expand outside of the bank?

My focus is to get resolutions for my clients by having a team of contacts that fit the appropriate needs of the customer’s business. By being active in the community as a member of numerous business associations, networking, and working on charities – I have endless opportunities to connect people. If your banker knows your business and believes in you, his/her connections could help you.
