Submitted by collin on Monday, 7 September 2009One Comment

iberianpigBrother-sister team Federico and Stephanie Castellucci, fourth generation restauranteurs and graduates of Cornell University’s Hospitality School, will open their brand new restaurant, The Iberian Pig, on the Decatur Square.

The tapas bar, which will open mid-September, will feature dishes like Cabrito Carbonara, slow-roasted goat with chittara pasta tossed in a carbonara sauce with applewood smoked bacon, fresh cream, and a poached egg, pork cheek tacos, and slow-simmered octopus chargrilled with freshly prepared barbecue sauce, fennel and shallots, and served with crunchy potatoes, designed by Chef Chad Crete.

A major feature of the restaurant will be the bar, managed by bar chef and mixologist Thomas Fable Jhun, formerly of Sugo in Duluth.

The restaurant will have extensive hours: Dinner will be served on Monday through Thursday from 5 pm until 1 am, and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm until 2 am.  For reservations, call The Iberian Pig at (404) 371-8800.  For more information, or to view The Iberian Pig’s menu, visit www.IberianPigATL.com.
